Chiron Technologies is a firm believer in synergy between industry and academic institutions. The concepts in supply chain management are evolving. Companies develop solutions to solve problems and improve business performance; the academic community studies these approaches, steps back, observes, generates new ideas, and integrates the outcomes. What happens next?

Certainly, the wisdom is passed down to students who will eventually join companies and apply this knowledge. While this is useful, where is the broader leverage? The answer is in an active partnership between companies searching for answers and the academic community which can provide the talent and youthful energy to generate new ideas. Together, they can try new approaches on a small scale in practical business settings. Results of this work can be refined and applied on a larger scale. It's a win-win opportunity.

Chiron has in the past worked with nationally recognized organizations focusing on supply chain solutions. Today we are joined with the Rutgers Industrial Engineering Department to collaborate on the next generation of supply chain challenges.

Chiron is an active participant in Rutgers' advanced industrial engineering program as guest lecturers and by providing supply chain software, at no charge, to help students explore solutions to business problems.

You can participate! Rutgers is looking for industry partners to work with students on practical research projects. The projects are chosen based on a good fit between academic and industry objectives. For more information on how your company can be involved, contact us at Chiron or contact Rutgers directly at 732-445-3654.
