Bruce
is a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology with a Masters in
Technology Management, where he also received his Bachelor of Engineering
degree. He has 30 years of experience in software design, development
and implementation with the Prudential Insurance Company, AT&T,
Lucent Technologies, Global Concepts and now Chiron.
Blending management and technical
experience, Bruce has directed large organizations and supported financial
reporting for large multi-national corporations. His technical experience
spans most operating environments from mainframe to client-server
to PC. Bruce's projects have supported a wide variety of business
functions - telcom equipment provisioning, network services, finance,
human resources and logistics. He has fulfilled roles in field support,
system engineering and analysis, software development and documentation.
Stephen
has his Masters in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Stanford
University. He joined Bell Labs in 1974 where he pioneered new computer
engineering techniques. Some of his work may be found in a number of journals,
including Computerworld, Data Communications, and publications of the
IEEE. Convinced that the art of computer programming could benefit from
a more structured approach, Stephen introduced Industrial Statistical
Process Control methods into the software development process. He went
on to develop and institutionalize quality improvement programs throughout
the organization.
Stephen continued his career at Lucent Technologies
and Avaya where he developed Knowledge Management systems and scheduling
systems. As a major initiative for the spin-off of Avaya he replaced
a Business Unit’s legacy systems with an Enterprise Resource Planning
solution using SAP.
Marc
Barnett created Chiron Technologies in March of 2002 as a spin-off enterprise
from Global Concepts, Inc. which he co-founded in February, 1996. As
the President and CEO of Global, he built a successful supply chain
software and services company from scratch.
Prior to founding Global and Chiron, Marc worked
for eight years as a Division Manager at AT&T/Lucent responsible
for a wide range of software applications supporting sales, ordering,
billing, customer service, manufacturing, repair, testing and distribution.
Marc began his professional career in 1974 at Bell Laboratories, spending
the next 10 years engaged in virtually every aspect of the software
discipline including analysis, design, development, deployment and support.
Marc holds a Bachelors degree from Georgia Tech and a Masters from Rice.
