the world's largest auto supply company, is using a WMS designed and built
by us in its distribution centers around North America. This WMS was instrumental
in the institutionalization of a "pull" methodology at all their
locations. i-Lean was used to design new layouts for their retail
stores and to assess the suitability of new warehouse locations, and design
a cross-docking strategy.
Lucent Technologies used i-Lean in their Wireless New Product Realization Center as an integral part of their new product introduction process. The software helped them decide how to implement a vendor-managed inventory program and make best use of limited warehouse space despite frequent production changeovers.
The Federal Aviation Administration
has used i-Lean in the design of a their repair and parts stocking
facilities. i-Lean made design changes easy to assess for feasibility
and cost impact.
